Art, nature and creativity come together at South London Gallery, where families can take part in free, artist-led workshops on the last Saturday of every month (excluding December). These relaxed, hands-on sessions are designed for children of all ages, whether they’re painting, drawing, cooking or crafting, and provide a welcoming space for parents and carers to join in too.

While you’re there, don’t miss the Orozco Garden, a peaceful green space tucked behind the gallery. At weekends, kids can pick up free garden worksheets and get creative exploring the plants, sculptures and winding paths.
